The Rooted Beginnings
In 2006, using our great grandmother Lala's recipe, we started McClure's. We grew up in Michigan making pickles every summer with our family. Bob having moved away to New York working as an actor and Joe pursuing a career in classical guitar and a PhD remained in Detroit. We decided to dust off the old family recipe and give it a shot as a business and started making the original pickle recipe in Brooklyn, NY and Detroit, MI. We continued to grow the business and in 2009 brought all manufacturing back to Michigan (one of the largest cucumber growers in the US) along with a partner warehouse in New York.

One word... Delicious!
One word... Delicious! And now the jar is empty, so time for more. Great taste, and crunchy. Pretty sure bought these at Whole Foods, but see them in lots of stores.

Perfect choice
Okay thoroughly impressed. I bought a jar I wasn't satisfied I contacted the company they sent me a new jar of pickles. I'm so impressed by a company willing to stand behind their product and do the right thing. The new jar is delicious.

Great tasting pickles. And spicy too!!
I found your product in a Kroger in Knoxville, TN. Having grown up in the Southfield area, your label caught my attention when I saw Detroit on it. Keep up the good work. And Oh by the way, I highly recommend your pickles to anyone looking for a new taste or for a gift basket item. Thanks....

Hands down the most amazing pickles!
I swear a sweet little angel from God came and whispered the recipes into this wonderful families ears and gifted us the most perfect pickle! These are hands down the most amazing pickles I have ever tasted in my entire life!!!! I can not get enough of these. The sweet and spicy, spicy and sweet ones are super addictive!!!!! I only wish I could buy a larger jar of them.
